I recommend the tour to racing cyclists🚴 and all those who want to comfortably do kilometers. 😏So, and to answer the question how I plan my tour in the rainy week. The first thing I do is choose a day that is as dry as possible 🌤and go to where the weather is best that day. 😉This is how I chose the tour on the banks of the Rhine this time. ⚓️🛶Started in Duisburg, we took Linn Castle with us. The castle itself is pretty nice, but we didn't go inside. Then we continued on the beautiful, flat, wide cycle path 🛣to Düsseldorf mit with the goal of "Hammer Blick" which was a failure, because the beer garden🍻 with the Hammer Blick was closed. The way there from the media city was not pleasant. It was closed along the banks of the Rhine and there was no cycle path in the city, trucks without end ... 🚛🚚🚴🚌🚙🚴♂️🚕🚒 not good. However, you have the awesome view much earlier, from the Rheinkniebrücke ⛩ to the promenade and the longest bar in the world ... we made that our new goal and ate very well there, 🥙🍲🍨🍻 with one of those something of hammer view of the Rhine. 😀👍We spent so much time there that some ships came back from their voyages 😂Back over a super paved racetrack past ruins🕍 directly into the factory town 🏭Duisburg, where our Beetle🚗 was waiting for us.
Great description, great pictures

The pictures of the Rhine are very beautiful, really (almost) like in the Maldives 😉🤭
Very nice shots, great eye👍
Thank you Gustav, Guido, Gitta and Rainer. I am pleased that the pictures are well received, they should give you a little incentive to explore the area yourself. 😉
Thank you Detlef1968 and yes the round was very pleasant and the promenade in Düsseldorf is really nice.
Very nice pictures and an interesting description of the bike tour, so interesting that you would also like to cycle this tour afterwards, if you get the MB “time out of the forest” 🦔 into civilization 🏰🕍🌁⛵🌁 take walk in the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia and feast want 🥗🍺
Sista! ... just like that.😀👍 I even polished my 🚲 MB SUV and lubricated the chain, put on clean pants and shaved myself so that the city dwellers wouldn’t notice that a Neanderthal man can eat there 🧟♂️🍗🥩🍻
Great route Michael, we are often in Düsseldorf. We do not yet know the excavations. Where do we find them?
Thanks Udo 😊 So if that's what you mean, it's Kaiserpfalz in Kaiserswerth komoot.de/highlight/96836?ref=whdLocated between Düsseldorf and Duisburg, directly on the Rhine.
