Beautiful landscape! Did you hike there with barefoot shoes? 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️
We used Skinners (socks with protection). A really well-designed product! So far, we took only cycling shoes and skinners with us on the trip.
Do the Skinners keep thorns off, for example blackberry tendrils? How durable is the sock protector if you often walk over gravel or road surface? Until now I have been using the "sock shoes" from Leguano.
I don’t really know how durable those are, but we used them to climbing steep slopes of the mountains, as well as, to walk some gravel uphills. For instance, yesterday, we were able to walk on the 70-80% smooth rocky surface. That was awesome! In addition to that, we even swimming wearing those socks to avoid any cuts in the shark rocks areas. So far I didn’t get any thorns in my feet) I never heard about Leguano socks-shoes, but once I try those, I will let you know if there any difference

Thank you for your detailed description. I find the Skinners very interesting!"Leguano" barefoot shoes are made in Germany. I don't know whether these barefoot shoes can also be bought in Russia. They are probably also sold in Canada and China.leguanoshoes.comleguano.eu/barfusslaeden/weltweit
