Day 3: Bopfingen - Unterkochen (Aalen) (29 km again)Actually only 26.5 km should come today, but again it was almost 30 and all weather conditions. First sunshine, then increasing sultriness, crashing thunder, unannounced rain and, towards the end, foggy steam. After a last look at the Ipf, we went up. Very high. The previously characteristic, white gravel paths soon became small forest paths. Then the rain came and we got really wet while it was thundering scary. Behind Hülen there were spectacular views that we couldn't see due to the rain, then we found the perfect place for a break in a remote witch's house. On rather boring paths to Unterkochen. One last, grandiose view, then on adventurous root paths down to the source of the Kocher, where the mist steamed over the water.
Wow - another power tour! Respect! 👍👍👏👏💚

Hello you twoOn this day, our paths crossed for a short time, I was just getting into the car when you had just crossed the street at Kapfenburg. On the left was a small farm with a riding arena. I still thought, oh dear, it will soon rain. I myself am a hiker, last weekend I was 68 kilometers on the Diemelsteig with my husband, you look at your fellow hikers, that's why you noticed me, and now that I'm reading your mega tour, I remembered that I was going to you have seen briefly. My husband & I are the hiking guides in the Swabian Alb Association (group Lauchheim) and have hiked a few kilometers on the HW1!I take my hat off to you! Respect and appreciation!I wish you many more wonderful happy moments and a healthy arrival! Good luck and healthWith best regards Liane from Lauchheim, near Kapfenburg 🙋🏻♀️

@Liane,We both really tried to think hard, but couldn't remember the riding arena 🤷🏻♀️We only saw Kapfenburg lying there before we shrank from 3 to 2 hikers. But you are probably right 😊 And thanks for encouraging me. But it's really not that difficult to follow this great path
