Wonderful hike in the Parque Rural de Anaga, mainly following the PR-TF8 trail.
Starting in Afur, the route leads down to the coast and follows it all the way to Taganana. Shortly before reaching the village, you’ll find some information about the local and historical wine production.
In Taganana, there are a few cafés and restaurants (check opening hours in advance).
Then, a longer ascent takes you back to the starting point.
Bring plenty of water and sun protection. Due to the trade winds, temperatures can drop quickly – so pack a windbreaker or rain jacket.
