Of course, a hike on the Großer Müggelsee should not be missing in this collection. The S3, which runs every ten minutes, takes you out to peaceful Friedrichshagen. You stroll along Bölschestrasse towards Müggelsee. Arrived at the mouth of the Spree, you descend into the famous Spree tunnel and walk around four meters below the surface of the water over to the other bank of the river.A beautiful forest area awaits you there. On comfortable hiking trails you circle the Großer Müggelsee to the small Müggelsee. On the way, picturesque views of the lake landscape await you again and again. If you like, you can take a break at the Rübezahl excursion restaurant, where you are expected with hot drinks and delicious food even in winter.Since the small rowing ferry in Rahnsdorf is not operated in winter, you follow the forest path to Hessenwinkel, where you can cross the Spree over two bridges even in ice and snow. From here you continue to Wilhelmshagen S-Bahn station.
