The tour starts in Schelklingen at the train station. From here you cycle straight to the Hohler Fels cave, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage “Caves and Ice Age Art of the Swabian Alb”. Then you drive through the Akhtal to Blaubeuren, where you can admire the impressive Blautopf.We continue through the blue valley to Ulm. Here in the Ulm Museum you have the opportunity to admire the more than 35,000-year-old "lion man". Then a crisp ascent takes you to the Alb, where you drive through the picturesque Lone Valley.On the way, it is worth stopping at the Hohlenstein cave, where the “lion man” was found, and at the Vogelherd Archaeological Park. The cave of the same name is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage. After you have left the Lone Valley, you will reach Niederstotzigen train station a little later, the destination of the tour.
