Today, the grand finale is on the last stage: from the Schwarzwasserhütte you hike across the Ifersguntalpe and the Eugen-Köhler-Weg to the unique Ifen Plateau. You pass a few exposed and rope insured jobs. On top of the summit you can let the magnificent view of the Hohe Ifen affect you. Then you leave the plateau in an easterly direction by climbing the rocky descent through the Ifenmauer.Past the mountain station of the Ifen II cable car at 2,020 meters, you will hike over the Gottesacker. Here you should absolutely pay attention to the soil markings and generally only cross the plateau in good visibility. Carefully you go over the rugged rock slabs to the dilapidated upper Gottesackeralpe. Here you turn towards Wäldele / Hirschegg. Through the Gottesackerloch and the wild and romantic Kürenwald you descend and run along the rushing Schwarzwasserbach along to Riezlern.Important: There are no rest stops and water points between Ifersguntalpe and Wäldele, as the mountain station Hahnenköpfle is not farmed in the summer. So take with you enough provisions for the hike.
