This circular tour takes you from Mittelberg into the idyllic side valley of the Kleinwalsertal valley to the Fluchtalpe. For connoisseurs there are some places to stop and rest along the way. From the Alpenrose stop in Mittelberg, follow the main road in the direction of Hirschegg to the turn into Höflerweg at the drugstore. From here it goes quickly on the asphalt road down to the stream and into nature. With the sound of the Breitach in your ear and with the Schafalp heads at the end of the valley in view, you hike into the Wildental. On a beautiful forest root path it is somewhat steep uphill. Soon the view of the picturesque valley opens up in front of you. Completely surrounded by cattle pastures and flower-strewn meadows, you hike to the Inner Wiesalpe (Upper Wiesalpe). From the terrace you can let the view work on you with a cheese plate or apple pie. Then you hike along a bubbling brook to the Fluchtalpe, where you can treat yourself to another break.Rested, it goes down the same way back to the Upper Wiesalpe. You can enjoy a wonderful panorama from the Walmendingerhorn over parts of Mittelberg to the Gottesacker plateau. You hike downhill past the Untere Wiesalpe, with a beautiful view of the Hintere Kleinwalsertal near Baad. Through a small forest you walk back to Mittelberg. By the way, there are opportunities to relax everywhere, thanks to many shady or sunny wooden benches.
