Today it looked good to do a New Year's round. Here in Geraberg, after a rainy night, there was a kind of cold spring day. So dressed and go. From a tour in May '17 (komoot.de/tour/16572313) I still had a bill with the poacher-path open, great plan. And there were intentions for the New Year: do not push, do not dismount and no detours, it is all that comes in front of the gun, unrolled, jumped and drowned! The first disillusionment of the beautiful Jüchnitz Valley: someone had hung all my Christmas and New Year's Eve sins on my bike, it was bawdy! At some point I saw snow remains and was still happy. At "Two Meadows" it was not just more leftovers, it was snowing too, according to the weather forecast that should not have been. It went uphill and heavier, I slid down and sat down in front of me. The planned poaching path is well-riddled with smooth and drooping roots, are the snow-gripping or slippery ones? Nothing was, the junction to the driveway was untouched, because I could only have carried. Bad mood I'm on the track up, the snow was more and more and I came out at the Schmücke. I did not want to go there. It was really winter here. After Gehlberg to the mountain path I would have to drive snow-covered road, er asphalt! It was foggy, no light and a pity about the altitude. So back downhill, was a nice egg egg, the front wheel always has its own plans. At "Two Meadows" the idea: High Waiting, there are beautiful runs. The driving became easier again, I was there fast. Great view and great descent, only it was dark, so rather with the little hardtail not quite so fast on the wet stones and roots. Very fun and there was good mud for clothes, face and bike. Still fast on the great path through the Goethe rocks (of course, everything driven) and home. So it's still a very nice and reasonably technical tour.

Cranking may not be completely correct where you did not stop. And I can not really imagine the nutritional sins ...
When I saw the cover picture, I thought briefly, where does the snow come from (I almost drove in the spring today), but you are in Thuringia.
There is nothing to annoy, is a nice Tour👍👍👍
also from me a good, healthy new year with many exciting tours ...

Thank you. I wish you good health and nice tours (and gladly together again)! @ Hallall: you're right that I drive through the year. There is no biking in the spring. Therefore, the first time is cycling in the new year = cycling. And somehow I have to call the tour yes.
And over the holidays, I have tried hard to sin. That it did not work, was not because of want, but on the skills: I'm getting old, because you can not fillet as before. A shame. And you can not spoon out the rum pot the same way you did in the old days. But it is still enough for the first climb to hurt.
