Today I took on the second rather hilly stage. ⛰️It is largely similar to the Neanderlandsteig, but I didn't want to leave it out because of that. It was sunny and green with many forest paths. They came up every now and then and also beautiful paths with great views. The Bergisch is simply beautiful.
However, the tour is very asphalt-heavy, sometimes streets have to be walked on and the background noise of the motorways or the view of parts of it was not pleasant either.
Hardenstein Castle was a highlight and went well with the ice cream of the mini golf course And now I have finally found the, albeit tiny, Düssel Quelle 💦 which I almost considered a myth. I wouldn't go on this tour a third time, but I still enjoyed it. Maybe you didn't always look at me on the steep climbs😂

Oh yes, you should take enough provisions with you. I only came across one place within 20km.

Taya, the source of the Düssel is also a myth 😂.
In fact, this place is only symbolic for the source, set up by the local wine cellar and fed by a garden hose with a pump (which does not even run around the clock).
Since the nozzle arises from several tributaries, this little place was simply created, but a nice idea anyway 😉.
And as always great description and beautiful photos schöne.

Hello Schrenki, nice that you like the description, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this stage because of the motorway and roads. There are even nicer routes in the area

Well, Autobahn - I'm used to noise from my tours around Wuppertal, but thanks for the tip. 😊
