On your fourth day, the path leads you through the wild and romantic nature park. You start in Crampiolo and continue hiking to the village of Alpe Devero. At this point you leave the civilization behind you again and ascend to the Val Buscagna. The valley is characterized by the large larch forests, which turn golden in autumn. The Italians lovingly compare the autumn landscape with Canada. From the Val de Buscagna you reach the valley of Alpe Veglia via two passes. On this mountain path there are short sections about abandoned paths and scree fields. The exposed areas are additionally insured with wire ropes to give you a secure hold. The valley of Alpe Veglia, the Cairasca Valley, awaits you with breathtaking scenery. On every side rise the mountains of the Italian-Swiss Leone group. Its 3,553-meter-high main peak, the Monte Leone, stands out on the opposite side of the valley.
