It starts in the very center of Magdeburg Central Station. Along the Stromelbe you get to the science harbor with the old chain steamer Gustav Zeuner and the impressive lift bridge. You cross the Elbe over the Herrenkrugsteg and hike to the Auenwald Biederitzer Busch.At Biederitz you have the opportunity to get on the train after around 21,000 steps. Otherwise you will reach the playful millennium tower via the Elbauenpark and continue through the university district to the end point at Magdeburg Neustadt train station.
