You start at Jena-Göschwitz train station, which you can reach with the Stadt-Express or the Erfurter Bahn. From here it goes straight to the slopes and to the ruins of the Lobdeburg. Along the narrow path you can always enjoy great views of Jena and the Middle Saale Valley.After you have passed the Rabensberge, you climb back down to the Saale. The path now always leads you very close to or even over the railway lines, so that you can end your tour whenever you like.
