If you haven't seen the surrounding mountains during the strenuous ascent to the hut, you should definitely do so now!We are at 2,500m above sea level and have one of the best views of the entire tour. Three giants tower in front of them: the Königspitze, Monte Zebrù and the Ortler. It is hardly possible to describe the sight. Everyone has to see that with their own eyes.We leave the Schaubachhütte very early and wait for sunrise. It takes a long time for the sun to climb over the Madritschjoch and the surrounding mountains. Nevertheless, the mood in the quiet morning is very nice. Nature is still asleep and only slowly wakes up. In the valley we can see dense sidelights and so have the sunrise just for us.The last 500 meters from the Schaubachhütte to the Madritschjoch are very exhausting and windy. It's steep, but with a bit of effort everything can be driven. Slowly we begin to feel the thinner air at 3,000m - especially in the morning, when the muscles and the body still have to get going. In short, the descent from the yoke to the Zufallhütte is simply epic. The trail, which is very technical in the first few meters, turns out to be a great challenge to show off your skills. There are a few technical points that require biking skill, but otherwise it's a very nice descent. Highly recommended.Unfortunately we have bad weather and rain, which is why we get the descent behind us quickly. From the Zufallhütte we take the road and rush into the valley to escape the thunderstorm behind us. When the weather is good, there are several trails and hiking trails south of the Zufritt reservoir.
