This panoramic circular route takes you through the Würzburger Stein vineyard, the largest single vineyard in Germany. While you stroll through the romantic landscape, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city. The four-kilometer circular route starts at the Weingut am Stein, where you can also park.While you wander through the wonderful landscape, you will come across information boards that tell you more about viticulture in the region: from an excursion into the history of the individual grape varieties to the role of wine in the church. The highlight of the path is the “terroir f” vantage point, from which you have a fantastic view of Würzburg and the leisurely flowing Main. The view from here is particularly beautiful on a sunny autumn day when the colorful leaves of the vines literally shine.On the way you can either take a break in the chic Schlosshotel Steinburg or at the end of your round in the Weingut am Stein you can buy a typical Bocksbeutel as a souvenir.You can easily reach the starting point of the hike from downtown Würzburg. The winery is only one kilometer away from the main train station.
