The Kreuzberg rising behind Dörfleins is the southeasternmost point of the Haßberge Nature Park. This 14-kilometer hike takes you up the mountain, on to the idyllic Mönchsee and the historic Franz Xaver Chapel in Sandhof. The tour starts in Dörfleins shortly after the Main Bridge.There are several stations of the crossroads along the way up to the Kreuzberg, so that the ascent is nicely entertaining. Then it continues through the forest past the Johannishof and to the Mönchsee. You can treat yourself to a long break on the bank of the pond.With renewed energy, you then take a short detour to Sandhof and then walk in a large arc through the forest to the Wagner Bräu Keller. Here you can enjoy a cold beer and hearty specialties while you let your gaze wander over the Main valley. Freshly strengthened, you then tackle the last section back to Dörfleins.
