If you fancy living history or an excursion along the Franconian Rezat, you've come to the right place. This tour takes you from Ansbach along the Rezat to Windsbach and back via Wolframs-Eschenbach.You start appropriately in the old town of Ansbach and drive past the pompous residence. The path leads you through the Rezat Valley, in which the river meanders quietly through nature. In Lichtenau you can examine the impressive fortress before you continue cycling through the idyll.Halfway, at the most easterly point of the tour, is Windsbach. Before you start your way back, you can do a little lap through the place. You leave Windsbach over the 200-year-old sandstone bridge and drive back a bit in the Rezattal. Then you turn onto a very nice path that leads you to Wolframs-Eschenbach. Take your time to discover the well-preserved medieval old town and stroll through the city moat. After extensive exploration through the Middle Ages, it gets a bit hilly again. But then you whiz down to the Rezat and follow it back to the residential city.
