The FINALE - on our ninth and last day of our hike on the Heidschnuckenweg it goes on stage 13 from Dehningshof to Celle, where the Heidschnuckenweg ends at the castle park.Shortly after the start, we reach the small, beautiful heather area of the Severloher Heide. From there it goes on forest paths of different widths, often stretching straight ahead for kilometers, through beech and oak forests or along pine forests towards Celle. We pass the Citronenberg, the Wildecker ponds and shortly before Celle the forest lake Klein Hehlen, before we cross the beautiful Allerwiesen shortly before the end. After we have left the Allerwiesen and crossed a bridge, we are suddenly standing in front of a Heidschnuckenweg sign that shows a remaining distance of 0 km. But be careful, this is not (!) The end of the Heidschnuckenweg. From here it is about 1 km further to the castle park.Once there, we have reached our destination, the end of the 223 km long Heidschnuckenweg from Fischbeck to Celle. The Heidschnuckenweg is at the time of the heather bloom (according to an old Heidjer rule of thumb every year from 08.08. To 09.09.) With its numerous heather areas bathed in a strong violet and delicate purple. The landscape offers beautiful distant views in many places with wonderful panoramas soaked in color.Highlights of "Stage 13 - Final Sprint"
    - Citronenberg,
    - Wildecker ponds,
    - Celle residence and specialist workshop with ducal palace, baroque theater, Bomann Museum, 24-hour museum, French garden

    Stamp points on the way:
    Section "Dehningshof - Celle"
    - Tourist Info, Celle (at the old town hall)
    - Hotel Celler Hof, Celle (diagonally across from the palace forecourt)
    GPS track:
After reaching the destination, the GPS track contains a short 300 meter long section so that you can still see the castle from the forecourt.
This hike is part of our collection:
    "Heidschnuckenweg (Lüneburg Heath)"
