Today we went to Dilsberg. What I think was a nice tour, but there was a section of the route that was quite borderline, namely the descent to Neckarhäuserhof. Here it was cross-country, no idea why Komoot considers this to be road bike suitable. The wind wasn't on my side today, but the temperatures were.

AH, I'm also a fan of this track! But the Komoot recommendation made me curse. will i.a. a sandy-stony 20% descent is recommended. That cannot be done either up or down. I follow the traffic signs, to Rainsbach-Neckargemünd (to the west) or Mückenloch (to the east) The slopes are also super nice and traffic is not the problem either.

Thanks for the tip. I should have saved myself the loop to Neckarhäuserhof and should have driven directly via Mückenloch. Then I would have saved myself this cross-country. Next time :)

Hmmm ..... Local knowledge really helps.
You probably rode over the stone table in Waldwimmersbach, it's really not really suitable for racing bikes. Then rather over Haag and then down the Finsterbachtal.
Although that would also be nicer to drive upwards.
Or stop before Waldwimmersbach left via Mückenloch to Dilsberg
