    This walk takes in the Tarka Trail which follows the old train route of the Braunton to Barnstaple branch and through the Braunton Great Field one of the largest remaining examples of Anglo-Saxon open strip field systems in the country. It also passes by Swanpool Marsh Nature Reserve an important wetland
