August 21, 2020
A late-Gothic hall church, enchanting half-timbered houses and impressive defense towers - the historic city tour is like a trip to a gigantic open-air museum. In less than three kilometers you can explore the most beautiful corners of Dinkelsbühl.You start right in the center at the Altrathausplatz bus stop and are already right in front of the impressive St. Georg Minster. The Romanesque tower portal makes the otherwise late Gothic house of worship from the 15th century unique. You walk north through medieval streets to the Rothenburg Gate, which watches over the old town.Within the mighty city wall you go to the wine market, where you can buy high-quality brandies from our own distillery and fine wines. We continue to the southern limits of the city wall and to the Bäuerlinsturm, the only half-timbered tower in Dinkelsbühl. The romantic streets lead you back to St. Georg Minster.
