The Blaupunkt route takes you out into the countryside, to historical places and picturesque ponds. For a good twelve kilometers you follow the marked tour from Dinkelsbühl via Segringen to Hohenschwärz.The starting point is the Altrathausplatz bus stop in the heart of Dinkelsbühl's old town. You walk past magnificent half-timbered houses and the striking St. Georg Minster out into wide fields. In an extensive arc you hike through the village of Hausertsmühle with its gently rustling brook and soon turn into Segringen. A historical highlight is the local cemetery, where you will notice the uniformity of the tombs. The shape of the wooden crosses with the carved or painted decorations dates back to the period from 1800 to 1820. The inscriptions and decorations are made of gold leaf.Via the charming-sounding districts of Schneckenmühle and Holzapfelshof, you continue to Hohenschwärz. Here you turn to the nature reserve Walk- und Gaisweiher and you can watch some birds that have found their habitat in this biotope. From the south you hike back into Dinkelsbühl and walk through the Nördlinger Tor.As a successful conclusion, a stop at the Gasthaus Fränkischer Hof, where you will be treated to typical Franconian dishes.
