Day 4 is our shortest day on our 9-day tour and takes us on stage 5 from Niederhaverbeck to Bispingen. At Gasthaus Menke in Niederhaverbeck, you first go straight back to the heath. After about 3 km the picture changes and we hike over fields and pass a primeval heather field. In a small piece of forest we meet Bockelmann's sheepfold, which was built around 1871 and is now a monument. After we have crossed a wooden plank path and walked through a short piece of forest, we reach the Behringer Heide. A small but beautiful heather area. Afterwards we continue to the Brunausee on the banks of which we can rest and enjoy the sight. From there the hiking trail takes us to Borsteler Kuhlen (which are also known as Borsteler Schweiz). A very scenic heathland in a U-shaped valley. Then it goes on to Bispingen, the end point of today's stage.Highlights of "Stage 5 - Watershed between Weser and Elbe"- Wümmequelle,- Behringer Heide,- Brunausee (pedal boats),- Borsteler Kuhlen (Borsteler Schweiz - heather in its original form)

Great tour and nice pictures. Especially on picture 23/24 it looks really mountainous. That is probably the area called Borsteler Schweiz.
