This bike tour is truly unique! Students of the University of Bayreuth have worked out a bike tour together with the employees of the university and the University Association Bayreuth so that fellow students and of course everyone else who is interested can get to know Bayreuth. In addition to unique landmarks, the tour also leads to the favorite corners of the students, all of which can be explored by bike. The tour starts at the Lang bakery in the city center. Then you drive to Röhrensee with its great zoo.The route through the university campus is something very special. Take the time to get off your bike and stroll through the botanical garden or relax in the roundabout in the heart of the campus. We continue through the Hofgarten with the New Palace to the Franz Liszt and Richard Wagner Museum. Delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes await you at Vedans. The next destination is the UNESCO World Heritage Margravial Opera House. From there it goes on musically to the Festspielhaus, the landmark of Bayreuth. The Hermitage with its impressive gardens is enthroned on a hill in front of the city. You drive back over the Wilhelminenaue, a quiet and beautiful local recreation area. On the banks of the Red Main you drive to the center, where you have earned a cool drink in Toni's wine bar after the tour.
