  • Bayreuth

On loop C of the Bayreuth Cycle Ring you will explore the northwest of Bayreuth around the valley of the Red Main. From Oberobsang you drive on narrow roads through an agricultural area until you reach the Red Main again at Unterkonnersreuth. Now follows the only significant increase in the tour. If your calves still have a little reserve, you can go to the beer garden in Hochtheta. Otherwise you will continue to meander through the forest, past an Indian camp.A descent takes you from the forest back to the city. Just before the Festspielhaus you can refresh yourself in the well-tended Kneipp facility. The Festspielhaus is one of the most famous buildings in Bayreuth. Only works by Richard Wagner are performed here. The best way to get to know the legendary rooms with the sensational acoustics is during a guided tour.On a drive through the festival park you will discover a few busts of famous composers and shortly afterwards you will reach the Red Main. A beautiful bike path has been built on its bank, which you follow for a while. Before you turn to Oberobsang, your starting point, you can follow the river a little further to the Rotmain floodplains.
