Should it be a relaxed half-day tour with a stop? Then explore the forests and fields around the Örtlberg. It starts at the parking lot near the Kellerwald or at Forchheim train station - from there it's one and a half kilometers to the starting point of the hike. First, you go straight past the beer gardens in the Kellerwald. But you can look forward to the later stop.Via wonderful forest paths you will reach a clearing on which the Serlbach district is on the left. But you won't let yourself be diverted from your direction and you will soon dive back into the forest. At the second intersection, turn left and follow the forest paths to a small pond, which with a bench invites you to take a break. Then you hike straight west to the Örtlberg. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view to the south towards Forchheim and the picturesque Örtlbergweihern between meadows and reeds.To the east you then come back to the forest, where you go to Serlbach. Here a cozy inn with beer garden invites you to stop. But you can also hike the last few kilometers back to the Kellerwald, choose one of the beer gardens there and toast a successful hike.
