The FrankenwaldSteig is a 242-kilometer round trip through the wonderful Franconian Forest. This 17.5-kilometer loop is one section of it. It lets you experience the breathtaking views and magical nature around Kulmbach.It starts in Gössersdorf, which is best reached by public transport, because the tour will not bring you back here. You march off via the old army and trade route. First you walk past the historic Samelstein on the Kirchleuser Platte and a few kilometers later you climb up to the lookout tower “Look around” on Patersberg. From up there you can already see your destination, the beer town of Kulmbach, where you have earned your cool blond almost five kilometers later.Do you fancy a multi-day hiking adventure?
