Nord-Schwarzwald: Zwei-Seen-Wanderung auf dem Westweg
komoot planned a hike.
October 12, 2017
The day tour takes you along the third leg of the Westweg, a long-distance hiking trail across the Black Forest.Start is the station in Forbach, from where it is only once steep uphill and over bumpy paths until the small tranquil Herrenwieser lake is reached.A last climb leads past the Bussemer Stein on the Badener height, which forms with 1002 m the highest point of the Baden-Baden urban area. From the observation tower you have the perfect view over the northern Black Forest. The way back leads you to the Schwarzenbachtalsperre, a large reservoir above Forbach. Already during the descent you can catch a glimpse of it before the path leads you along the shore back to Lorbach.
