The notorious water quintet route once contrary to the official route recommendation. Since I started in Windhagen, I chose the roundabout 'am Rodt' as the start and finish point. The above 74.6 km concern the pure water quintet route. With temperatures above 30 degrees, the starting conditions were not exactly ideal today - but it went better than expected.I have now traveled the route once in both directions (not today!) And find this variant more attractive. So you have the 'nasty' topography at the beginning of the early kilometers and you have to save less grain for the rest.By the way: Ttetniuqressaw means water quintet backwards. Just in case someone was interested because of the tour name.
The above tour is also available as a Relieve recording under the following link: relive.cc/view/vdvmQBEEXNv

It's nice that you like the route. First I set the route for 'Gravel' in komoot - and ignored it for times. In Börlinghausen he wanted to lead me next to the railroad tracks over the non-existent crossing (the one with the 'Danger to life - no entry' signs). In Radevormwald, leave the railway line in favor of a gravel section. Both m.M.n. no attractive alternatives.
From Lake Lingese to behind Rönsahl, the lovely voice from the komoot orbit has me alternately with: "The route will be adjusted." and "Now turn back!" kept happy. Then I turned off the sound. After that, it went perfectly.
Maybe it was the heat.
