Once around the lake - that doesn't sound like a lot if it weren't for the picturesque but also lush Starnberg Lake. For a circumnavigation you hike an impressive 53 kilometers and unbelievable 90,000 steps through small villages and past magical chapels. Challenge accepted? If the soles of your shoes start to “burn” in between, you can shorten the lap in several places by getting on the train or in a boat.The start and end point is at Possenhofen train station. Since this is a circular hike, you can also get on at any other point on the tour.
