The hike around the Hebringhauser dam mostly runs on dirt tracks and forest paths through mainly woody, slightly rough terrain. It goes up and down through hawthorn avenues and past the tracks of wild boars, which have rummaged through the grass for edible. If you like it lonely, you're in the right place - there's not much going on. That makes the hike but also attractive. It comes here not at all the idea that the Hebringhauser dam belongs to the city of Wuppertal.A trail parking lot directly at the dam, there is not. You can the car but on holding bays z. B. on Beyenburger Strasse, the starting point of the hike, off. By public transport you take the bus 669 to the stop "Trompete" or "Spieckerlinde".
