The tour starts and ends at the parking lot near the rainwater retention basin for the Orlegnabach. To reach it you have to leave Maloja in the direction of Italy and turn left at the first possibility outside the village. From the parking lot it goes over the smuggler path to Lägh da Bitterbergh and on to Lägh Cavloc. From there it goes towards Cabanna Forno into the Forno valley. Depending on your mood, weather and time, you can continue to follow the Forno Valley. The way back is the same way to Lägh Cavloc. A stop at the Cavloccio restaurant is recommended. From Lägh Cavloc, the route takes you back to the parking lot.
