The starting point today was Thale, easily accessible by bus from Quedlinburg.
From there it went briefly to the Bode and then to the hiking trail towards the Hexentanzplatz. This path is quite demanding due to the ascent and the very uneven path.
In between you will always be rewarded with a beautiful view.
I'm more than disappointed with the witch dance place. There was a lot of gastronomy and attractions for children, but nothing more. It was very busy and I would not come back here.From the Hexentanzplatz we went to our first stamp of the Harzer hiking pin in La Viershöhe. And from there towards Georgshöhe and to another HWN, the Glockenstein.
The forest around is very worn and not nice to look at.
But it became even more beautiful from the Glockenstein.
We made a short detour to the summer cliff before we hiked down the Bergmannstieg to the Wurmbachtal.
Hardly any people there and almost untouched nature.
