Short round around Unglinghausen. Partly leads on the Unglinhausen themed path.

Hello Komoot users. I really enjoyed myself and in the past few weeks have created a lot of highlights, made reviews, posted pictures and given thumbs up for many other highlights. Result: Today I was the first-placed expert for the Siegen Wittgenstein region after the Pioneer. The Komoot points system simply allows that. You can put all that nonsense in it. A dung beetle can also be a highlight and give you points.
As I said, I once did it for fun and find it absurd!
What is your opinion When I see the pioneer in the hiking category in Siegen Wittgenstein, she does few tours in this area and still has an extremely high score. Somehow strange. 😉
I think the system with the highlight is good at first, but it should serve to give you an indication of special sights.
Looking forward to a constructive discussion. 😃

I also think it's great that you can create highlights yourself, but there is also a lot of crap. I have already applied for a lot of "changes" (wrong names, duplications, wrong pictures), so I tried to clean up ;-)
I don't know if that gives pioneer points, I don't think so! In general, you have to work a lot on the computer instead of setting up many nice tours.
And there is no revision ...

Yes, the Komoot points system is also pretty absurd. That's why you sometimes see the same place 5-6x at hotspots ...

Thanks for your comments. For me, I will really only try to bring real highlights. The fun I allowed myself shows how absurd the whole thing is. And meanwhile a beginner with a few tours has upset the ranking of the experts in Si-Wi and is far ahead. A lot is wrong in the system.
We do not let this spoil the fun with Komoot. 😁

Hello Frank, I have never actually thought about getting points for highlights etc. Until now, I didn't even know that there was such a ranking.
If I set a highlight or give a positive evaluation, it is because I like it and I think that many other users will also enjoy it. I don't really care about any points about becoming an expert or a pioneer. I don't hike to be able to adorn myself with any titles. I hike out of passion, fun and the joy of nature. That's what it should be about!
That's my opinion on that! Greetings from the Sauerland!

@ Sebbi and @Dodo, you are right! The rating system ("experts") does not help. The highlights are. Have fun out there.
