With mostly overcast skies and a few light showers, but with very pleasant temperatures, today it was again about one of the large water areas in Berlin's urban area, Lake Tegel.Starting from the Neheimer Straße car park, the circular tour mainly ran along the direct riverside paths of the lake. This was followed by the passage on the Berlin-Spandau shipping canal on the opposite bank of Hallig Tegel and the first crossing of the Havel over the Wasserstadtbrücke. From there, the hike continued along the Maselake Canal to the Aalemannufer, from where we used the ferry to cross the Havel to Tegelort for the second time.Back on the shores of Lake Tegel, we continued through the southern part of the Tegeler Forest with a view of Valentinswerder, Baumwerder, the island of Scharfenberg, Lindwerder and Hasselwerder to the Großer Malchsee bay.The last section then led over the Sechserbrücke onto the Greenwichpromenade past the Kanonenplatz and the Borsighafen back to the starting point.Very pleasant, easy to walk and varied round. Except for a few exceptions from urban transition passages, it's really nice! If you like hiking on the banks of large lakes, you've come to the right place. We recommend. 😁
That's great! Thanks for the tip. I am often at Tegeler See, but never a round. Now I'm going to try it for sure.
You're welcome, Suki.If the weather is better, it is also suitable for swimming. But then definitely much busier and therefore not as quiet and wonderfully deserted tour as today ...
Yes, today you really felt almost alone in the woods.
