B@ and Snowflake went mountain biking.

Our day started at 03:35 at an altitude of 2000 meters, and we were already on the bike at 04:45. In front of our eyes we recognized the world-famous pyramids of the Alps in the starlight. We started with great motivation at almost 6 degrees on a gravel track. As the air grew thinner, the paths became steeper. We kept changing from pedaling to sliding mode. After 1800 meters of altitude an overwhelming panorama opened up to us at 3333 meters on the Theodul Pass. We are in the middle of the four-thousanders of the Alps by bike! Nowhere else in the entire Alpine region can you experience a panorama as impressively as here. The Breithorn in front of us, the Matterhorn behind us. The sunrise overwhelmed us at 8:05 a.m., which would also bring some warmth. Accordingly, an early departure was announced. It was important to us that we could drive through the glacier before thawing. Should the snow cover become too soft, pushing would be advisable even during the three-kilometer descent and this had to be avoided. Satisfied with the descent and with overwhelming emotions, we reached the Trockenen Steg gondola station. Here we made a first real break. We filled our water tanks and changed our clothes. The following descents will give you a clear view of Nordend, Dufourspitze, Signalalkuppe and Lyskamm! We rode down to Zermatt on an endless trail. There we treated ourselves to a large piece of cake and simply enjoyed the moment before we set off for the long descent to Visp. This last trail gave the icing on the already great six days. A real triumph! And so it was accomplished: once we drove around one of the most famous mountains in the world, crossed five very high passes and spent seven days in nature - what a great and indescribable week. "
You are enviable. Super nice tour and very interesting pictures.
