Hunsbuckel went for a hike.

Today we went with Manggongjai on a tour around the Heimberg, which we only saw from a distance on the Sponheim circuit. The tour starts in Waldböckelheim and leads first to the mountain church, an imposing building in the middle of a village with maybe twenty streets. From there it goes in a wide arc around the Heimberg to the abandoned vineyard slopes above Schloßböckelheim. From there you have several great views of the Nahe between Oberhausen and Boos above the Nahegau nature reserve. From there it goes up to the 29 meter high Heimbergturm, a fairly sturdy wooden tower with a covered observation deck. Now it goes down to the Seibersbach and then ascends over a steep single trail to the Teufelshöhle. Here, unfortunately, my circulation went awry today, so that after the unsuccessful search for the Devil's Cave (all densely overgrown), we canceled the planned detour to Boos and Oberstreit and returned to Waldböckelheim via the mown grain fields.
But now I hope well again? At the moment I only go for the dogs early in the morning or in the evening.
The photos, a dream 👍👍👍
As always a very nice and individual tour!Hope the cycle has caught up again?
You made some really great photos 👍🏻
everything done right. stays healthy so that you can continue to hike beautiful tours. get well soon!
Low blood pressure (actually good, only the doctor always measures twice because he doesn't want to believe it) leads to dizziness at high temperatures, I already know that. Didn't want to confront Klaus with the fact that I'm about to tip over. Then rather slow down at the first signs of dizziness and skip an increase. And go on tour more regularly ...; o)In any case, there were again a few not so crowded or forgotten paths - apart from the Heimbergturm, where we even got a car.The Teufelshöhle remains on the ToDo list ...
