Just as we ended yesterday's bisse footpaths, we started the next morning and penetrated deeper and deeper into the Turtmann Valley. The Weisshorn was one of the first four-thousanders here. We aimed for pits along the Turmanna and from there we got down to business (we thought). From the top stack (2334 m), the last 450 meters had to be covered pushing rather than driving. At an altitude of 2790 meters, we crossed the first real summit of our tour with the Meidpass.A demanding descent to Alp Le Chiesson followed. We came to the Hotel Weisshorn via a great altitude trail. The efforts were rewarded with a grand descent. Our overnight stay in Grimentz is a well-known ski resort, which simply amazed me by the idyll.
