Stage four on the BergeSeen eTrail is technically easy, but it's still a tough one, because 70 kilometers and around 1,890 meters of altitude are a challenge. Good battery management is important for this stage: it is best to take a spare battery or at least a charger. Not that it gets tight in the end. If you are already there, pack yourself an extra portion of provisions, so you can take a break on the way to a small snack. Before you set off, you can get your circulation going with a dip in Lake Wolfgang. Then you tackle the first long climb: 800 vertical meters in one go are a small challenge. For that there are also several rewards above. Once at the top, you have a last beautiful view of Lake Wolfgang, and there are also several huts on the Postalm where you can take a break. Now it's just going downhill for a while. You finally come to the Lammertal via the historic Postalmstraße, which is closed to public transport. You follow the Lammer for a while and enjoy the beautiful landscape and the flat course. Take a deep breath when you cross the main road, because now the second long climb of the tour follows. You now tackle the ascent to Hornspitz on a winding road. Take it easy and stop here and there to take a look back: The large peaks of the Tennengebirge, Bleikogel, Fritzerkogel, as well as the Schwarzer Berg, Trattberg and ultimately the Hohe Zinken, in between the Postalm and the Gamsfeld are behind you and give you you a postcard panorama. Shortly after you have left the summit of the Hornspitz on the left, you should stop at the Falmbergalm hut before you start the last section to the stage destination Gosau.
