After a rather quiet second stage, there is a lot to do today: around 52 kilometers, more than 1,400 vertical meters and above all a few crunchy trail and isolated sliding passages challenge you and the battery of your bike equally. Today the Zwölferhorn is waiting for you. The view from there is phenomenal and the short way to the summit at 1,521 meters is a must because of the only summit photo on this tour.Once at the top, you can enjoy the wonderful view and look forward to the most beautiful part of the tour. The descent via the "Shared Trail" is really fun, just remember that you can meet hikers here - mutual respect is a matter of course. You have to descend briefly at various pasture gates and possibly avoid one or the other cow flat (or even its originators). The finest mountain feeling! On the Illingerbergalm you can fortify yourself and talk shop with the host about mountain bikes before you tackle the rest of the tour with full power. After a varied up and down you finally reach Lake Wolfgang. The cycle path there follows the lakeshore and takes you relaxed to the stage destination Strobl. If you feel like it, you can cool off at a bathing spot in the lake just before your destination.
