Filmmaker Edgar Reitz made the Hunsrück world famous with his HEIMAT chronicle. Most of his filming locations are in the middle of the Hunsrück between Simmern, Kirchberg, Gehlweiler and Gemünden. Our HEIMAT round tour leads to these places where traces of HEIMAT can still be found. It also does not miss the Nunkirche with the cemetery in Sargenroth and the Hunsrück Cathedral in Ravengiersburg.
