This Tour goes through the northeastern tip of the Groningerland. From Winschoten you drive around the Oldambtmeer and towards the Dollard. The view consists of beautiful vistas over vast swamp landscapes and beautiful water features. It is time to start the eBike. From the Winschoten train station you drive directly towards the Oldambtmeer. In this vast nature reserve around the Blue City, you will find many water birds, deer and hares in addition to beautiful nature. The cycle path continues to run approximately ten kilometers close to the shore of the lake. From the higher dike you have a view of the rich flora and fauna. At the Klinkerstraat in Oostwold you leave the dike road of the lake. You cycle through the open landscape towards the Kiekkaaste. This is an outside bird-watching hut with a view over the Dollard. The Dollard is a tidal area where fresh and salt water from the Ems and Wadden Sea meet. Animals and plants are found in this landscape that you will not see anywhere else in the Wadden Sea.The last part to the Kiekkaaste can only be reached on foot. You will therefore have to park the bicycle for a while. The route then runs close to the German border. After the Oudeschans fortress, the route follows the Pekel-Aa canal to Winschoten.
