The beginning of a larger tour with "artistic aspirations" - abruptly stopped when I was able to find that the rain jacket did not keep what it promised ... But on the way collected a few impressions of the Soeste, whose parallel bike path has been revised - recently with a bridge system including picnic benches. Coffee aunts with and without mutt in the basket will love it - nature lovers, on the other hand, see it rather critically, since the route has been moved away from the Soesten-Mäander, and a good part of a reed strip has fallen victim. It remains to be seen how this will develop. I will publish this petitesse as a greeting in your Sunday

Too bad, then second attempt in fine weather. 🌞

The bike path on the Soeste looks very nice, as does the footbridge. In good weather, probably a dream route 😊

Thank you for hearts and comments.
@ Güni - just come back from the 2nd try. It worked. Then there will be seen here tomorrow.
@ Söhni This route is truly gorgeous - in every weather and in all seasons and every time it grows closer to my heart. In the rain, I had it almost to myself - then I prefer it.

Ida, after viewing the pictures for the first time, I thought it was a shame that you had to cancel the tour. The bike path along the Soester is idyllic. Even if the bridges are not quite natural, I think they blend nicely into the landscape. I could well imagine a break on it. 😉 Nice that your second attempt worked, I would be happy to see it!

Thank you Dieter - I had - you guessed it already - forgot to dance and then I had to put up with the water from above. When I drove along the picnic benches today, people were actually sitting there and really enjoyed sitting in the sun. That would be too much for me on the presentation plate during the day - in the early morning or late evening, it would certainly be very nice.

The Soesteweg is a wonderful running route, standard if you want to get out of Cloppenburg. 3 km from the hospital to the Ambühren lake, and from there in all directions. Not 100% ideal for cycling; too narrow, and a lot of pedestrians, dogs etc. Thanks for the nice photos

Top ... sometimes pictures that sometimes show the realistic side of cycling. At least then you have little oncoming traffic ....;)
