Ready for the marathon under the Silvretta-Ferwall-Marching routes? You should be: The 1,700 vertical meters and over 40 kilometers that await you here are not for the faint of heart. This time the tour starts in the heart of Galtür. Via Wirl and the Zeinischjoch you hike through beautiful nature, always past smaller and larger lakes - until you finally reach the Heilbronner hut. You have already completed a good quarter of the tour, so you can treat yourself to a well-deserved break. Then there is another decent climb to the 2,641 meter high Grieskogel. Hold on! It will be the last major climb on the tour and will be worth it. The view of the valley and the surrounding giants is simply awesome. However, you do not have much time to enjoy it. It’s going downhill now and then going a bit flatter - but you’re still quite a bit ahead of you.Passing the Friedrichshafener Hütte you make your way to Tschaffein. You finally get back to Galtür via the Larein Alpe - the last stop before reaching your destination - the Stafali pond and the Jamtal valley. At the gates of the local sports and cultural center, it is time to press "stop". So that the "Paznaun Challenge" app knows that you have successfully completed the marathon route.
