Beautiful summit tour with - if the weather is fine super- great panoramic views and into the surrounding valleys of Mölltal and Drautal as well as the entire Millstätter See. The tour starts at the top station of the Goldeckbahn and at the beginning it is a relatively demanding climb up the mountain; via a single trail or a small pull path. When you have completed this climb - a little less than half of the entire tour - it is relatively flat on a mountain path towards the Goldeck summit with a stop at the rustic panorama hut at 2,100m. Then you can reach the Goldeck summit cross (2,142m) with a short detour. At the end it goes over a good hiking trail and at the end of the tour again over a piece of ski slope meadow back to the Goldeckbahn mountain station.
