If you haven't already explored the mighty basalt cone in Parkstein on the second day, you can start the third stage with it. Then you roll through the shady Pressather forest and reach the foothills of willows in the Upper Palatinate at the edge of the forest. The winding old town with the old town hall on the market square is particularly worth seeing. After an exploration tour through pastures, let the Waldnaab guide you north and after a few kilometers you will reach Neustadt an der Waldnaab. After you have switched to the other bank of the river, you pedal properly and tackle the climb up to the Mühlberg district. You can take a break at the Mother Anna Church before continuing uphill. Shortly after Denkreuth you reach the highest point of this stage and can then enjoy the descent into the Waldnaab valley. After 30 kilometers you are back at the starting point of this adventure world in Neuhaus-Windischeschenbach, where you can still visit the Waldnaabtal Museum.
