If you're in for a hard day with much climbing, this is your route. The Nordeifel has the biggest elevation differences in the wide region, with climbs up to 7 kilometres. Brace yourself for a ride with 10 big climbs on a course of 130 kms with 3000 metres of ascend around the beautiful Rursee. The climbs include the feared Der Hammer and an unknown cobble climb that brings the spring classics feeling to the Eifel. Stop for Kaffee und Kuchen in the Disney-like town of Monschau. Finish the sufferfest with the climb from the beautiful valley of Simonskall.
