The HLW is a 130 km long RW in Thuringia. This leads into the Wartburgkreis, Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis around the Hainich and its national park, as well as into the Werra valley.
NP Hainich is at our feet. We walk the path without haste and hurry and let nature work on us.
After the first few kilometers, the soul comes into harmony with nature.
Route: Gate to Hainich Weberstedt - Brunstal - Eiserne Had - Ihlefelder Kreuz - Betteleiche - Reckenbühl - Hainich Haus Kammerforst.
The intense scent of wild garlic still sticks in the NP. The leaves of this wonderful herb are now withering visibly.
The chirping of birds in different voices was heard. A wild boar pack with freshlings was spotted by other hikers at the end of the Brunstal ... unfortunately we missed it 😔.
The CPR is accompanied by the Fahner Höhen Weg and Waagenbalkenweg.
Note: Fahner Höhen Weg from Erfurt to Mühlhausen (90 km).
I was on the way with Peter. Here are the records from Peter: komoot.de/tour/192228030?ref=wta

Hello Heike, this is a good tip with the Hainichlandweg. I will include it in my planning.

Hello Thomas, I can recommend CPR with a clear conscience. It is very diverse and varied. You won't regret including it in your planning
