The premium hiking trail "Litermont-Sagenweg" with the addition of the Litermont summit and a detour to the Sodixbrunnen (Judenborn). 5 h 15 minI ran 15 kg more on the ribs at the beginning of the Premiumweg period and was at the hut after 15 km at the end. I say: nothing for beginners. Quite long and various meters in altitude. Then I no longer dared to go and now I wanted to know.I started at one of the deep points :-) (parking lot Friedhof Hausstadt) to have the exhausting parts in the first half. the exact route description of the legendary trail can be found here:urlaub.saarland/Media/Touren/Traumschleife-Litermont-SagenwegThe highlights are the Kondeler Bach -> Quarry section, the Litermont summit and the Düppenweiler copper mine with a walk-in gallery (which is always open at least during the day). From the Grauen Stein I followed the summit tour and left it near the Herchenbachstiege to come back to the Sagenweg. At the end of the descent from Weltersberg, follow the sign to the Sodixbrunnen, enjoy the cool water and back to the main path.Attention: there are two pastures and there may actually be cows (see pictures, fortunately at the other end of the pasture).High proportion of trails, lots of views, lots of forest, but now and then meadows

It is not easy there I have to agree with you, but it is fantastically beautiful. Always a feast for the eyes in winter and summer.
