Pictures are really nice and I like them - now get my big LOL & praise: what kind of mask do you have ...? As from the "Special Troops" of the Mexican police ...

That makes me 0.07 Sdt / km faster 😂 because small children clear the road directly without having to ring the bell. Had to listen to before, after which I rang the bell and warned the mother: Oh mom, that's just an old grandpa on a children's bike 😂 😂 😂

A small summary of my weekend trip:
On the left bank of the Rhine is clearly the better option, you always have the Rhine in view and the view of mountains and castles is clearer, while on the right bank of the Rhine there is usually no traffic and train alongside the river .
The descent from the observation deck to the Rhine, which I chose, is in my opinion. Also not recommended for better mountain bikers: too steep and too many steps.

    Good job. 👍👍👍
Nice tour. The bike paths on the right bank of the Rhine are not yet continuous. We also prefer to drive on the left bank of the Rhine. 😉
However, we have not yet pedaled the route from Koblenz down the Rhine. So far have only been traveling between Wiesbaden / Mainz and Koblenz.

From Koblenz down the Rhine, I don't think it has the charm of upstream, except for the height of the Siebengebirge.

What you and others accomplish on route deserves the greatest respect! Hats off! The route between Cologne and the Loreley unfortunately also has dry spells, which are not exactly scenic delights. I used to ride my racing bike in a group a long time ago, and thank God that wasn't so noticeable. :-)
